Toasting to one of my absolute fave Thanskgiving traditions. This parade reminds me of my Poppy. The night before Thanksgiving you’d find me spending the night with Poppy and Grams. Thanksgiving morning, Grams would give me a fancy glass with orange juice and ice, and I’d settle in to watch the parade while Poppy worked on his dog track racing program. Without fail, about an hour in, Poppy would have had all the parade he could take and I’d finish the parade watching in the den while Grams cooked the turkey. So today I toast my Poppy - never forgotten. Thanksgiving is your holiday. Canned cranberry sauce and all. Happy Thanksgiving friends.
